FAMILY ESTRANGEMENT COACHING
Come with the tangle. We’ll find the thread.
Coaching for adults with a family relationship that has gotten complicated. You don't have to know what you want before we begin.
You try to do what they ask of you, and it's never quite enough.
Sometimes it feels easier to avoid the conversation entirely — but that breaks your heart, because distance isn't what you actually want.
When you do talk, the emotion comes fast, and you feel attacked before you know what happened.
You've heard “just communicate better." You've heard “set boundaries."
You know it isn't that simple. This runs deeper than a technique can reach.
You've already tried everything you know how to try.
Most people arrive at one of three places.
I don't know yet.
Something is wrong. I can feel it. But I couldn't tell you what I want or what should happen next.
I want to reconnect.
I want to be closer to this person, and I'm willing to find out what that would actually take.
I need to let go.
I've tried. It hasn’t helped, or the relationship isn't healthy for me. I need help finding a way forward.
Before you can decide what to do about a relationship, you have to understand what's actually happening inside it.
That's what the Untangling Session is for.
Whichever door is yours, everyone starts in the same place.
Today's conflict Almost always… has an older layer underneath it.
Think about the rings of a tree. Every year it adds another layer, and the earlier ones don't disappear — they're still in there, holding the shape.
People work the same way. Something that happened a long time ago can still shape what feels threatening now, what you expect from someone before they've said a word, and how hard you react when something familiar starts happening again.
The goal isn't to excavate your history. It's to understand enough of what's underneath this conflict to make a clear choice about what comes next.
The conflict you're in now
The pattern underneath it
The older layers that keep getting activated
What each person is actually experiencing
What you want now
What you're willing to do
What makes sense next
There are two ways to begin.
A private voice-message intensive, just you and me, over about a week.
For when you want to be heard by someone who knows this territory, but you're not ready to sit down face to face with a stranger. It's real work, and it's a genuine taste of how I think.
As soon as you pay, I'll email you everything you need to begin — including how to find me on Voxer. You can send your first message the same day.
A live conversation where we slow the whole thing down and look underneath it.
This is where coaching begins. If you already know you want to sit down with someone about this, start here. You don’t have to know what you want just yet.

Untangling Session
Hi, I'm Kelsi.
I've spent more than twenty years sitting with families in pain — hundreds of them. Estrangement, distance, the slow fade of a relationship that used to feel easy. What I've learned is that these are almost never about the fight that seems to have caused them. They're older than that, and more tangled.
I don't promise reconciliation, and I don't assume every relationship should be repaired. I help you see clearly, and then decide.
A clear word about what this is.
Let Go Coaching is coaching. It isn't therapy, and it isn't a substitute for it. I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Sometimes the work makes it clear that what someone needs is individual therapy rather than another coaching session. When I see that, I'll tell you, and I'll help you find someone. That's not me turning you away — it's me telling you the truth about what would actually help. Because coaching isn't licensed the way therapy is, I can work with people anywhere. There are no location restrictions.
You don't have to untangle everything today.
You just need to find the next thread.
