Before you book.
If yours isn't here, write to me and I'll answer it.

No. This is coaching. I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions, and coaching isn't a substitute for therapy. We may notice that older experiences are shaping how you react now — that's part of understanding the relationship — but we're working on the relationship and your choices about it, not treating a condition. If I think you'd be better served by therapy, I'll say so and help you find someone.
-
That's the most common place people start, and it's the reason the Untangling Session exists. You don't need a goal before we meet. You need a relationship that's tangled and 90 minutes to look at it honestly.
-
No. Plenty of people arrive already fairly sure they need distance, and plenty arrive wanting closeness and leave realizing something different. I'm not steering you toward reconciliation. I'm helping you find out what you actually want.
-
Then we work with that, which is most of what Moving Forward Coaching is. You can't make someone else participate in a relationship. What you can do is understand why it still has this much hold on you, decide what contact makes sense, and stop organizing your life around waiting.
-
Then you have one session. The Untangling Session is built to be worth it on its own, and there's no program you're required to enter afterward. Some people leave with exactly the clarity they came for and I never hear from them again. That's a good outcome.
-
We don't start there. Each person has their own individual session with me first, so I understand both experiences and can tell whether a shared conversation is likely to help or make things worse. When we do come together, my job is to help each of you bring your own experience into the room — not to speak for either of you permanently.
-
No. They're two different pieces of work, and Olive Branch is priced as the real thing it is rather than as a deposit on something else. Plenty of people do one and never do the other.
-
That depends on what we find, so we talk about it in the session rather than in advance. What I can tell you now is that nothing is decided before we meet, and there's no program you're required to enter.
-
By video, on Zoom. You'll get a link when you book. Coaching isn't governed by state licensure the way therapy is, so there are no location restrictions — I can work with people anywhere.
-
Sessions are paid in advance and the time is held for you, so payment isn't returned for a session you don't attend. If something comes up and you need to move it, tell me as early as you can.
-
Olive Branch is a week of voice messages back and forth at your own pace, for $129. It's a real piece of work and a good way to find out what I'm like to be helped by. The Untangling Session is 90 minutes of live conversation for $350, and it's where coaching begins. If you're already sure you want to talk to someone, start there. If a live call is more than you can do right now, start with Olive Branch.
-
You pick a time, answer a few short questions, and pay — all on the same screen. It takes about a minute.
Straight after that you'll get a short form about what's happening, so we don't spend the first part of the session on background.
There isn't a wide-open calendar to choose from. Ninety minutes is a big block, and I place them deliberately rather than letting them land wherever — which means the time you get is one I can be fully present for.
Olive Branch is different. You can buy that on the spot and start whenever you're ready.
-
Then you fall apart in the session. This is a subject that has been sitting on people for years, sometimes decades. Nothing about that surprises me, and nothing about it is a problem.
If you'd rather write to me first.
Some people want to ask something before they book. Some want to say a little of it out loud before deciding. Either is fine.
